Green @ £20 per person containing 1 x pre-departure Lateral Flow Test and 1x inbound PCR test for day two
Green+ @ £60 per person containing 1 x outbound PCR test with courier costs 7 days a week included, 1 x pre-departure Lateral Flow Test and 1 x inbound PCR test for day two

But as you can see it does include the PCR, seems a good deal

So you self test with some options, a lot cheaper than £100 or €100 but how do you obtain the results and present them when travelling?

12 flights today ... there is an SEF (immigration) strike today .. so be warned
25 flights tomorrow

there have been around 20-30 people all week around Alfagar pools, so building slowly compared to almost nothing the previous midweek. More on the beaches midweek on the other cams too .. Albufeira and Vilamoura.

Randox are in partnership with Easy and Ryanair, they send tests to your home and you send back in provided container, they confirm receipt and then post your result and certificate on line which you download for travel .
TUI use a different company to test but you have to fly with them to enable access to the cheaper deal, weigh up overall costs to see which is the better option .

There it is, Portugal on the green list and flights already being added , I am very happy to finally be able to book and check on my home there, like many who have all but had to abandon their properties I need to make sure there are no major problems !
Sadly though I think the airport queue will be a total nightmare !

Don't think the airport queues will be very big as there wont be many other flights to other destinations to worry about.Clap

There is already .. and has been for some time ... testing at airports. TUI is already an expensive option for holidays ... you would be silly to fall for that on the basis of tests, which are almost certain to become universally available for some time to come ..

Maybe ask that question on Trip Advisor ... in German .. or French.
There will be many others, but these have been operating in many airports like Faro

You can get a free antigen test in Albufeira, in a facility outside the town hall. See

https://albufeirasafe.masterinsoft.com/#english for details. You must book in advance.

They also do the PCR test currently required to be able to travel to UK. This costs €75.

Tried booking a test for the 2nd June at that place fully booked. Only place left to book is a place called Clioura in Olhos de Agua at €100.
