Just a quick note. Flew in with Easyjet on one of thgeir new Airbus A321 aircraft. About half full of around 240 seats. Arrived on time despite one passenger having to be chucked off at Gatwick. He or she had a 'smart bag' checked into the hold by mistake. Smart bags have a GPS tracker powered by a lithium ion battery, which are not allowed in the hold. Bear that in mind if you feel like investing. Find one with a removable battery at least. Then another ten minutes while DfT aviation security staff made a spot check of the interior. Another flight from UK had arrived just ahead of us. I was in the queue for passport and other paperwork checks for 27 minutes, but once out bag was waiting and I was outside within 40 minutes of landing. The electronic gates are not in use all the while your health passports and plf forms are being checked manually. Those of us with UK passports but are residents cannot use them anyway. Your residencia card must be shown to the immigration officer. Otherwise your passport gets stamped and in 91 days men will be round your house to throw you out of the country.

My son flew into Faro last night as well but from Luton. They arrived almost 30 mins early ,there was small queue at passport control, short wait for luggage - in car on way home 30 minutes after landing.
All very efficient
