Yup it appears to be going down quite alot. Was up to 1.18 only a couple of weeks ago in our town, yesterday I saw it was 1.11

Cheque Centre offering €1.174 today.
We always take cash and put some in the safe in the room and split the rest between me and the missus.
The Hotel covered thefts from your safe up to about €900 if the worst happened.
