Hi all
I know employment is hard to find in the Algarve but is it easier to be actually living there first? Also, is anyone aware of a particular website that advertises employment in the Algarve albeit seasonal? Thanks in advance. |

highlight the link and right click certainly easier if you are here ... for instance, lots of hotels, bars, restaurants, etc will be recruiting in the run up to easter .. some leg work may be required. |

A major problem is finding accommodation. Apartments for long term rental are rarely advertised. Anyone who can rents for holidays at €1,000 a week in high summer,

I wish you good luck in your quest to find a nice place to work in Albufeira, However, don`t expect to get rich as such things as a decent minimum wage(or even a very average wage) Sunday Hours double pay, unsociable hours extra pay, and many other taken for granted workers rights are not the norm in Portugal
Ever wondered why so many Right wing UK Tory MPs support Brexit ? |

I have my own place so accommodation isn't a problem Cubsur. I want to relocate but don't want to be bored as I'm still very active so keeping my options open.
Thanks for advice everyone. |

That's good, plenty of work in summer if you are prepared to work hard. Current campaign by the unions is for a €600 minimum wage. A month.
And to Cameroncleggout, in a voice of officialdom, you have your wish as they have both long gone. Kindly keep your political comments to where they are relevant. |
