A very different day today! 19º and cloudy at 0825. Showers expected and a maximum temperature of only 23º, fully 10º colder than yesterday. It's supposed to be better on Thursday and Friday.

It's a fairly nice day in Canterbury, 17º at 0830am rising to 23º later. No rain expected. Still a big contrast to Monday and Tuesday. Wet and windy weather is forecast for the weekend.

Last full day in Canterbury, 20-over cricket tonight. It's 17º at 0745, rising to 25º this afternoon, no rain. A nice day ahead of what seems is going to be a wet weekend.

Another summer day on the Sussex coast. Raining steadily from grey skies. Temperature at 0640am is 16º. Supposed to stop raining during the morning with the temperature rising to 20º if we are lucky.

Moved now to Tonbridge in Kent, where the weather will be no better. a rainy day is forecast at least until late afternoon with maximum temperature of 16º. A yellow weather warning is out for storms on Sunday.

Not too bad in Tonbridge at the moment, 12º and bright at 0745, but later today a band of wind and rain is expected across most of England, 16 or 17º at best. Tomorrow does not look very nice at all!
