A very satisfactory day in Canterbury, cricket and weatherwise. Looks like it is going be even warmer today, 24 or 25º this afternoon. I am now off to the seaside, Eastbourne in Sussex.

Sunny Sussex by the sea and it is 19º and a bit cloudy at 0805am. A very nice day ahead, 25º the forecast (papers says SE England sweltering! They don't know what sweltering is, when I was a lad...) but very high pollen levels as my eyes and nose are telling me.

No need for heatwave warnings here! Cloudy morning in Eastbourne, 19º, very light wind. Forecast 24 or 25º this afternoon then rain this evening, tonight and into tomorrow!

Eastbourne 0830am , 12º, grey skies and blowing haf a gale. There was a thunderstorm last night big enough to knock out power for a while. England in mid-summer! It's going be cloudy all day, windy and no more than 18º.

The sun is back this morning after a totally pleasant summer Sunday of howling winds and heavy rain. Currently 13º here in Eastbourne, still fairly windy though. Expecting a high today of 19 or 20º.

I see it still looks rather unsummery in Albufeira with rain likely on Wednesday. Rain in June!!

Looks like the weather here is better than in Albufeira! Best day for a while, 21º at 1015am rising to 24º even perhaps 25º later.

Rained hard here last night, got a bit wet heading back from pub. Today, my last morning is cool and cloudy. It won't be more than about 17º all day. At least the weather back in Albufeira looks to have improved.
