Always look on the bright side......
Boris told us that the light at end of the tunnel is in sight.  So that's all-right then.
Problem is it may be an approaching express.
I don't know how Covid news is delivered in Portugal.  Our Boris always has to be grandiose.  The UK test & trace system he announced was to be "World Beating". Turned out not even to be adequate.  After a couple of such pronouncements cynicism sets in. He's a broad brush man.  No good at policy detail.
In any case Boris's jacket is on a shaky nail.  Tory "grandees" are not 'appy with his performance.  But will the next PM be any better?

Rather off topic I'm afraid but as most people have gone quiet I thought I'd vent a bit of spleen.  Off now to the daily Scottish Covid briefing.  Our revered FM has got us in a virtual lockdown from Friday.  Hey ho!  Sooner I can get back to the Cavern the better.
It is no coincidence that in no known language does the phrase 'As pretty as an Airport' appear. Douglas Adams

"I don't know how Covid news is delivered in Portugal."

Solemn press conferences with confusing statements which are then widely critcised in the media. There is an obsession with statistics, which are used as a sledgehammer to dull the populace into obedience. Which is being increasingly contested.
