Good before and after comparison.
It is no coincidence that in no known language does the phrase 'As pretty as an Airport' appear. Douglas Adams

The beach was almost deserted today. It was quite windy and the sea rough.

A reasonably decent day today, a bit windy but around 19º. Went for a walk along the beach. There were a few people out, even a hardy few actually sunbathing.

On the right the chasm opened by the outflow from the stormwater drain by Inatel.

There was a lot of that red seaweed accumulating in some places.

Spotted these two on a rock.

Praia dos Aveiros then a few of Praia da Oura from afar

Not too bad a day, dark clouds and rain are over the hills to the north. It was around 20ºc but a bit windy.

I counted just over 60 people, mainly on the Inatel and German beach end, yesterday .. which basically means hundreds over the day ... hopefully, Costa will give them somewhere to sit on Thursday ..

Can't have people mingling! It's thought unlikely not before June for any form of 'beach life' other than plain waking on the sand.

But the weekend weather forecast is fine, warm (26º) and dry. Will people ignore the rules and go to the beach en masse? Could be interesting, especially if hordes come down from Lisbon.

Nice sunny day, about 24º but rather windy. Pictures taken just after 12noon. I expected to see rather more people after yesterday's TV reports about Quarteira.

There were a few people on the beach yesterday lunchtime, including some actually sun-bathing, but it was very windy and they didn't stay long!
