Yes. The level  fluctuates from time to time if the tides are high, but always seems to come back.

It ages since I have been to Olhos D'Agua, so after a painful and expensive visit to the dentist, I took myself over there. Sunny day, tide was out and a few people were taking the air.

First two are Falésia beach from across the water.

This is why you don't sit under the cliffs!

Rather a dull day today. First two pictures taken from Rua Samora Barros opposite Hotel  do Cerro and the third from the roof of the car park above the escalators.

Having tried the roca beach bar on my last visit   i was very surprised, it wasn't over priced and the quality of the food we had was on par with the establishments around town and the service was spot on as with all of the rocamar properties..... and a great setting too will recomend

View of the eastern end of the beach from across the bay taken earlier. Looks like a good number of people were enjoying the sunshine. Temperature was around 19º.

The town council has announced that (translated) :

Being a public space of excellence, it is important to underline that, as indicated by the Maritime Authority, on all beaches sporting, leisure, cultural, social and recreational group activities are forbidden.

They have also recommended that things like boat trips from the marina are stopped.

The beach today, taken from up high above the marina where the navigation light is.

A panoramic view from up there

Praia da Falesia

and nearly eight miles (12.5km) across the bay the shiny towers of Vilamoura.

If you were by the navigation light then Figo’s house was right behind you. The very modern contemporary one right on the end.

Indeed I was. It was very empty, as are most of the properties up there.

I was tempted to take a photo, but such opulence is far too much for my lens.

Town beach Sunday 29th. Beaches are not yet closed as they are in several other towns.
