There were as few paddleboard and surfy types down on the beach today. Not exactly giant waves but they were having fun. There have been some high tides lately. You should be able to see the tide marks almost up to the base of the Roca bar.         |

There had been a yellow warning for rough seas over the weekend which may have co-incided with a high tide. Certainly it's gone rather further up the beach than I recall recently.

Praia da Oura earlier today. It was rather windy and rain was in the air. Whole area almost completely deserted of course. I did see a strange bug.      |

Beach today - a bit windy. As mentioned elsewhere they are having another go at building storm drain under the sand.         There are also some big holes and a lot of digging near the pier.    |
