Perhaps it grew a new claw after losing the first [right] one?

Apparently some crabs do grow a new claw if one goes missing. I found several learned studies on why some crabs are left handed. It seems the answer is 'we don't know', any more than we don't know why some humans are left handed. It seems that being a left handed crab is bad news.

This cat looked to be as cross as we humans are  I also noticed that the little tribe that is usually sunning itself on the viewing platform have cleared off somewhere else. They must also be wondering what's going on.  |
