In actual fact, there are very few flights as late as that ... today, Ryanair from London is the only one around 10.00 ... and a TAP flight at 11.20 ... you should find that shared shuttles ... early and late ... are much faster than normal ... that is certainly my experience having only ever once used a private transfer, from six transfers a year.  You could be spending 20 euro extra to gain 15 mins ..

Cheers for all the info folks, first time in Portugal so all new to me. I have used both shared and private transfers, had good and bad experiences on shared transfer option. Friends of ours use a shared shuttle, well they did until the time it took them longer to get from Faro to Albufeira than it did from Glasgow to Faro...   It really depends on how busy they are and how long you have to wait for other people to arrive on other flights. If you are not in a hurry, a shared shuttle is only 10 euros pp ... averages 1 hour 15 min.
You can book that with Travel Republic, Alpharooms, etc,

Pre booked private transfer is the best choice. Many companies to choose from and you should get a return trip for 60euro.
