Walked past last night, tables all set out but not many customers, does look different as they have done away with the massive TV screen in favour of several small ones and it looks like they have opened out to the back somehow.

Still advertising all the British football etc on TV.

I don't know what young Eddie and Danny are doing at the moment but old Eddie had long wanted to step down. He found someone to lease the place from him. He and his partner are planning to move to Madeira (they may have already gone) and open a coffee shop. Refurbishment is going ahead with pace. A notice in the window says 'opening soon under new management'. End of an era.... I've heard the same... We have been going there for the past 10 years and have got to know Eddie pretty welll...
