Touché both of you. I travelled the country following the RAC, the Welsh, the Scottish... I have so many pics, stories.. As all the drivers were so approachable. Happy days.
Yes, love the grip, I do appreciate that but as an average driver, I must be, to be in control of something sliding says to me it's me, I'm in control, when admiring somethings grip, it's the machine, still great fun but I prefer slip slidy.

I've been there and rwd is good fun,but i do love the immense grip that evo's have to offer,hence why I'm now on my 4th and the mrs is after one,the speeds my X can carry through a corner is bonkers,to the point you wouldn't think it's possible without crashing.

I've spent many many hours in the "wet, mud, snow" when I used to follow the round Britain RAC rally. Never missed a year in places like the forests of Kielder, Hamsterley, Grizedale, etc. Saw some great cars and drivers in everything from dust to mud and serious snow/ice.

Certainly was, at Stafford, an ex airfield. Was good but I prefer these days when it's wet, far more exciting when it's slidy, slidy... Even if the speed is a bit down. I'm a Roger Clarke fan and as his first autobiography was titled "Sideways to victory" is my love of car driving, give me a Mk2 rear wheel drive Escort in the wet, mud, snow... We've just been down to where the rally cars were all parked up to and they were just loading some evo's away.

Hope you enjoy, it's a massive restaurante and they don't hang about, feel free to tell your waiter to slow it down, unless you are in a rush, otherwise you'll have food on your table about four minutes after arriving!

It is British - T770 DUY is a White 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo Vi with a numberplate first registered in Worcester in 1999. .

There must be good money in piri piri, as there's other automobile exotica there as well!

It's a small world.

I'm a Mitsubishi evolution X owner and a member of an evolution owners club and I think it was this guy who I was speaking to when he joined the club,he was telling me about his evo's and the peri peri restaurant and said he would take me out in one of the cars if I was ever over his way.If I'd have known this last night I would have spoken to him.
