We took an iron back within the guarantee period, it wasn't ready within the 30 days and they gave us our money back, as luckily the old one - which we had kept in case of emergency - got a second wind.

It's a pointless law though. Credit where credit is due. I had to buy a new fridge freezer, the old one having passed away after 10 years loyal service.

Went to Worten on Tuesday morning, ordered the one I wanted with delivery planned the following afternoon / evening. Text message later that day confirmed arrangements.

Received a text at 6pm Wednesday to say they would be round shortly, two blokes in a big van turned up at 645pm, hefted said item into apartment and took the old one away free of charge.
