If anyone knows anything about his family in the UK please contact jonhny hooper,the British consulate are trying to trace rex's family in the UK, as he died alone in albufeira ... Very sad. Rex was a very interesting man. Many a great afternoon spent chewing the fat with him. Yep, he couldn't sing the best these days but in days gone by he was a member of show bands touring the UK. I always glance over at his little caravan near the marina when going past and think how the hell could anyone live like that, but he did, and, he never complained about it.
