I had forgotten that, thanks. Although what the queues would be like I dread to think. It only holds about 40 people.

Local bus from the bottom end of the strip (about 5 minutes walk) takes 7 or 8 minutes to old town, but last buses are now at around 1930hrs. There won't be any buses or taxis back if you are in the old town for NYE so walking will be the only way. It's a bit hilly but will do you good after a hectic night. The land train stops at around 2200hrs.
