The building has been expanded across what was the open terrace. I've often called in to Merlins for one for the road but it was never a large place. Nearly complete..... Yes Dock 7 is where Saad Concept bar was towards the far end near Fat Cats and Sharkys. It hasn't lasted long I think only 2 years since it opened.

Also Paragrafo bar which used to be right on the near end where all the boat trips go from, this closed at the end of December as the owner Carlos was 75 and wanted to retire. As it has such a great position for footfall as all ther people get off the boats and many just hit the first bar. I assumed it would soon re-open as something else, but the terrace which is a double terrace has this week been occupied by Gate 4 bar which previously had no terrace as it joins on to the segway and bike square with no decking.

Hi, I saw this on their Facebook page a couple of days ago;-

“Hello everyone…. So due to some issues with the new project of Merlins Bar , we apologise for the delay but unfortunately we not going to manage to open soon…. But in the meantime we are opening a new bar at the Albufeira Marina named ( Dock 7 ) hope to see you there …Lee ( Lineu )😊😊🥂🍹🍻🍾opening from tomorrow Dock 7😊”
