The various celebrations of Albufeira day will take place between 19th and 21st August, with the main events on Saturday.

Friday night will see a youth event including a 'Soul Dance' spectacle down by the beach, same place Saturday at 2230 a singer by name of Mariza and at midnight a fireworks display.

The Rua do MFA that leads down into town will be closed. Taxis will be at the top of the hill, buses on linhas Azul and Verde will not come down into town. Best option is the stop at the top of the escalator.
