Yes, hot windy and a few days of dry weather have changed the situation. Scrub clearance has continued throughout the plague but there is still a lot of wood out there.

The fire risk map can be seen at http://www.ipma.pt/pt/riscoincendio/rcm.pt/#

Some areas are more at risk than others even within various districts.
