I was off away that same afternoon and when I got back Monday night it was back on. I always run the taps a bit after more than a day away. The first few moments it came out brown but everything OK after that.

We had spotted some operatives down the road grappling with a long valve key of some sort.

...... if the meters are running backwards it might indicate "backflow", something that in the UK is against all rules and regulations. Water has been cut off here in darkest Páteo since earlier this morning. Interesting to note that the two older meters for the adjacent apartments are going backwards at a rate of knots. They will be pleased, but what will the council do if they get a negative water consumption I wonder.

Not mine, it is not moving.
