How good is your Portuguese? Any paperwork will only be in that language. Probably a good idea to get in touch with them now. There will be English speakers there.

BTW you do know I hope that you can only stay a maximum of 90 days without registering with the SEF border control and immigration services.

We are travelling down to Albufeira in November for a 4 month stay and had intended to bring our Staffy cross dog with us. Have found out today that this breed is banned in Portugal but that a special licence can be acquired via a Junta de Freguesia?
