You should be able to post a picture without any permissions or contacting admin so if I were you I'd try again.
Maybe the site was just having a blip when you tried

I tried to put something for sale with a picture on the 2nd hand bit of the forum but when I went to post, it said I did not have the required permission or something. Any ideas what I am doing wrong.
