On Saturday 15th Guia will be at home to Quarteira SC in Algarve League Division 2, KO is currently shown as 1800hrs, which is normal for that division. Guia is a ´proper´football ground with no running track around it. https://maps.app.goo.gl/jjueoJWnkyp6R5Z28 On the same day, just along the road in Ferreiras, it's Ferreiras v Olhanense in Algarve League Division One. KO for that one should be 1500hrs. Ferreiras is also a proper football ground and is just outside the town centre. Estádio da Nora at https://maps.app.goo.gl/MmdvMQqBNMyK1Qyg7 Gluttons for punishment could therefore easily manage both if Guia's KO time stays at 1800hrs. None of our national fourth division teams is playing, yet another blank week in their fixtures. The following weekend there will be no matches in the national leagues. The weekend is kept clear for FA Cup matches. In the Algarve League for Saturday 22nd November these will be the only nearby games. Check KO time here a few days before. Ferreiras v Culatrense Algarve League Division One 1500hrs Messinense v FC Os 11 Esperanças Algarve League Division One 1500hrs - that's in the little town of Messines about 15 minutes drive from the Guia area. Ground is easily found, almost in the town centre. Hi everyone,
I hope people don't mind me asking on this forum.... We are having a family trip in November, staying near Guia and would like to take my father-in-law to a match. I'm aware of the SC Farence v Silves match in the Taca de Portugal on Sunday 23rd. Unfortunately we already have plans for this day. Are there any other games on between 15th and 25th November that you would recommend? |

ALGARVE CUP FIRST ROUND WEDNESDAY 22nd OCTOBER
All games currently scheduled for 8.30pm / 2230hrs kickoff * these will either be at a different ground or a different time. The clubs do not have match quality floodlights! The two games at Quarteira may be changed. There are two pitches but next to each other. The confirmed times etc for these games are not listed on the official website as of Sunday 12th October.
