Taken this afternpoon at Sesmarias, west of town, this I think sums up the current state of the ground. if we don't get some rain soon... I did find an abandoned vineyard nearby, some grapes still there, some turning to raisins already but I grabbed a bagful. Out the back from me this afternoon. Some of the evergreens and small shrubs are doing well, so is the bamboo in places, but the grass has long since turned to straw and the dry thorn leaves were crackling underfoot.  Anyone know any good recipes? Probably be the only edible thing still growing soon!
