We are staying in Albufeira in April and would like to make a couple of day trips. I was thinking of one day LoulÃ© and Alte. And another day Silves , Monchique and Lagos.Is there in Albufeira a driver with a car that does different types of excursions?

I don't know of such a service but perhaps one of the airport transfer companies could offer something? It would cost a lot of money though.

There are organised excursions to all those places, but whether they combine trips to visit on the same day I don't really know. Lagos and Sagres on the same day is a good possibility, but trying to fit in Monchique as well would leave very little time at any of them.

There is almost no information available on line but this website might help. There are mentions of private tours.

Several years ago we enquired at a taxi office about hiring one for the day with an English speaking driver (with 24 hours notice). He took us to Monchique, Silves and Portimao plus lunch in a small village restaurant. Lovely day & a knowledgeable driver.

I can't remember the total price but there were 4 of us and it was considerable cheaper than individual excursions. Not sure if you can do this nowadays though.
