I have come across a Mens [Boys?] Under 17s competition, due in the locale shortly:

Same format as seen in previous years, four teams, all play each other over three match days.

*Saturday, February 10th at Imortal, Albufeira, 11am, Spain v Germany... followed by
3pm, Portugal v Netherlands, same venue.
*Monday, February 12th at Imortal, Albufeira, 11am, Germany v Netherlands... followed by
3pm, Portugal v Spain, same venue.
*Then Finals day, Wednesday, February 14th, BOTH games listed at 11am, Spain v Netherlands at Estadio Algarve, and Portugal v Germany at Bela Vista, Parchal.

Just heard this also from my main man. There is also an under 17 girls tournament early February, awaiting details. He also mentioned a possible visit here by England U-17 men or boys in a few weeks.

England U17 mens/boys are not booked in hereabouts.
They have opted for somewhere in Spain.

Day one of three, today at Imortal:

Spain 7-0 Germany Ouch
Portugal 6-0 Netherlands Ouch

No need for further comment really.

Day two is Monday 12th, Germany v Netherlands at 11am, followed by Spain v Portugal at 3pm, both at Imortal.

No prizes for guessing the prime attraction!
