I was told that week that the Kykus EyeMedical opticians in Avenda das Ilhas (just up from the stadium and skate park) accept old glasses for charity. The frames are refurbished and sent to Africa. They gladly accepted five old pairs I had gathering dust.

Do you know if they're still doing this? I have a few old pair I could do without.
