Corner of the square, bottom of Liberdade ... passed a couple of times this week with my tour and they are working on the building which has been closed several years. Does anyone know if it will still be accomodation .. or maybe a new bar/restaurant ? ------------- Pyrman |

I stayed there for a week in its last year. Very basic. I'm amazed it has been unused for so long. It must have been badly affected by the flood. ------------- It is no coincidence that in no known language does the phrase 'As pretty as an Airport' appear. Douglas Adams |

Walked past an hour or so ago. The works license is valid for two years, ie until October 2020 and is for 'amplification and extension'. It doesn't say what for.
