Last morning in Bristol before I return I hope to warmer climes. Once again it is windy, cold and grey. Rain in the air and temperature at 0745am is 8º, maybe rising to 11 or 12º later. Brrrr!

A grey and dreary looking morning in Bristol, rain in the air. 11º at 0730am, might reach 14º but rain is forecast for most of the day. At least it won't be as windy as it has been over the weekend.

Very windy yesterday in Bristol and Bath, but only a few spots of rain. Sunday morning and still windy, sun peeping through the clouds. Rain forecast later. Currently 12º, may reach 15º this afternoon by which time I will be in a pub.

Travelled across-country to Bristol yesterday. Looking out of the train window at a very soggy Sussex, Hampshire and Wiltshire. Poor little baa-lambs sitting on the wet grass, rivers swollen, raining on and off. In Bristol this morning it is grey and windy, a hint of rain in the air and 12º. Apparently things will get better later, with a massive 15º on the cards before more rain this evening. What can you expect? Today is the first day of the county cricket season!

Last morning in Eastbourne, where it is 11º, very windy and coming on to rain. Off to Bristol later, where the prospects for the next few days seem little different.

Another cold, grey and windy morning in Eastbourne. Was very wet last night, more rain forecast until lunchtime. 11º at 0740am, might possibly hit 13º later. Brrr!

A bit grey this morning, sun is trying to poke through the clouds. Temperature 9º at 0800, it is it windy again. Light showers forecast, maximum 12º. At least I can see that Albufeira is not much warmer!

Bright and sunny here in Eastbourne, 9º at 0725am. Should be a fairly nice day but still not very warm, 13º at best and with a chance of a light shower especially this evening.

Sevenoaks, Kent, 7º under grey sky. Might creep up to 12º later staying dry and mercifully nowhere near as windy as it was Thursday and Friday.

Fairly horrible. It took two goes to land at Gatwick yesterday afternoon it was so windy. Wind and gales most of the evening and night in darkest Sevenoaks. This morning it is grey and windy, temperature 8º. About to rain again by the looks of it.

My last mornning in Inglaterra, where here in Eastbourne it is cooler than yesterday, 14º, quite breezy and cloudy. Forecast for today is 17º. Those here can look foreward to a fairly good week of mostly sunshine and temperatures up around 20º. As for me, back to Albufeira later, Easyjet perrmitting.

Yesterday afternoon in Canterbury was very pleasant, almost like summer. Maybe not quite so nice today, rather cloudy and 19º. I am off later to the seaside at Eastbourne, where the forecast is for a sunny day tomorrow, but rain on Monday.
