Update 11.55 - decidedly cloudy and dark, almost wintry, with a few spots of rain! It is fairly cloudy and 13C very little wind. Should reach 19 or 20 later and not expected to rain although some clouds are rather dark. It could be quite cold tonight down to 10 or 11. Warmer weather will be with us from tomorrow.

Bright and breezy this morning, 12.1ºC at 0830am which could rise to as high as 23 this afternoon. There might be a little bit of cloud later.
Tonight cold be quite cold again, down to as low as 9ºC in sheltered spots. Little change coming for the next couple of days. This is the last on the spot report for a couple of weeks. I am off to enjoy some English spring-time weather - not! Don't forget you can get the local forecast at http://www.ipma.pt/pt/otempo/prev.localidade.hora/index.jsp#Faro&Albufeira

Well, yesterday we arrived to a very acceptable late Spring, early Summer day and 21 degree's.
Today it's warm, currently 15 degrees, light breeze, dry but grey cloud overhead, the forecast is for a max of only 17 degree's and almost certainly we will have some showers, mid afternoon looking a certainty for that. Tomorrows forecast is similar but a couple of degrees warmer. |

Currently in Olhos De Agua. It’s been raining stair rods since 2pm, and not very warm either. At least it’s good for the garden. Over in Oldham I believe it’s 18 degrees and sunny.

It must be very localised, the forecasters weren’t on the ball imho today.
It stayed breezy, we saw an hours light rain 1.00 to 2.00pm, it wasn’t warm at 17 tops but at six o’clock, the cloud cover broke up and the sun is out and at the moment it’s a lovely sunny spring evening. But the forecast rain all day on and off just didn’t happen. |

A much better day in prospect!
Suns out, no breeze, in fact it's eerily still, no air movement at all, some cloud, 16 degree's already and 19/20 forecast (depends which forecaster you check) apparently later. Outside chance of some showers this after but given what they said was coming yesterday, and it didn't, I'm doubtful! All in all, very pleasant. |

Nice day yesterday, we had one ten minute sharp shower around 1.00pm, nothing to get excited about and it did get breezy late afternoon but overall much better than forecast even reaching 20 degree's! I've said before though, I reckon 9 times out of 10 the temperature betters the forecast.
Today, all is set fair. Little cloud, sun shining, lovely blue sky, no breeze, 15 degrees already and 20 forecast, so we'll see. They also say 50% chance of rain but looking at what we currently have, I'd be surprised. A lovely day in prospect. |

Mad! Just 15 minutes drives East and we had continual rain for a couple of hours then massive storm around 5pm which filled all the road drains etc!!

Yes Pete, it is mad. I’m learning just how localised it can be and seems to be at the moment. We were in Albufeira at 1.00pm today and it started to rain, quite light but it was rain. We left at 1.30, still raining, and as we came past the marina, no rain, roads bone dry. Just now got home, nothing here.
They must just be very localised and yesterday, and it seems today, just slightly West of Old Town, we’ve been lucky. |

Nice start, cloudy but not full cloud, sun out as well, light breeze, 15 degrees with, according to IPMA, 22 degrees later and a 40% chance of some rain, that’s less than they forecast yesterday and we actually got very little.
Looks to be a nice day. UPDATE 10.30am It is now full cloud and not so warm! Not sure which way it will go now and IPMA have upped the rain chance to 57% from 1.00 to 3.00pm. The early promise didn’t deliver, not yet anyway! 😕 |

Forum was down this morning hence this later than usual post.
It’s a great day, clear blue skies, full sun, the lightest breeze 21 degrees already likely 23/24 later. IPMA say a 40% chance of showers between one and three o’clock but that doesn’t look likely at the mo! Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are forecast as showery with daytime temps as low as 18, then normal service is resumed, no rain and temps of 26 for next weekend. |

Lovely day, not a drop of the wet stuff and the forecast of showers for next three days has also changed, for the better.
Ho hum, it’ll be what it will be, so we’ll see 🤞 |

Well the weather on Thursday and most of Friday was nothing much to write about! Today looks like being much better, it's already 17.5ºC under a bright sunny sky. Forecast for today is a maximum of 29ºC, although it may be a little cooler near the coast. That's a lot more than the average for mid May. Tonight will have 15ºC or so. Looks like being 28 tomorrow and 30 on Monday, so take care in the sun. Tuesday and Wednesday will be pretty hot also, then it will cool down a bit to more reasonable mid May numbers of 23 or 24. No rain is expected.

Hot! 23.2ºC at 1040am and rising to 28º later. Not a cloud in the sky but it is pretty windy, the sea is covered in whitecap wavelets. It's going to be warm tonight as well. 19 or 20c with two or three more hot days to come. But from Wednesday it will cool down a bit to more like mid May should be, 23 or 24 daytime 14 - 16 at night. There's only a very slight of any rain over the next 10 days,. |

Another hot one coming today. Temperature at 0915am is 22.2ºC, expecting to rise to 29 this afternoon. It is not as windy as yesterday but still enough to keep the pollen in the air! It will be warm again tonight, no lower than about 18ºC anywhere. Similar day tomorrow and with the wind coming from the south-west we are currently forecast 32ºC for Wednesday. After that, a change in wind direction will bring the temperatures down to what they ought to be for mid-May, around 23 or 24 but it should stay dry.
