Certainly were a lot of black clouds around yesterday but they all missed Albufeira until late afternoon and predictably as I was leaving the alehouse! Got soaked going home.

This morning it's cloudy and grey overhead, but blue sky to the west. Temperature at 0945am is 15.7ºC in a light wind. The radar shows a large mass of rain to the east and raining mainly on Spain but seems a few breakaway showers may be heading our way from the south. Top temperature today no more than 18ºC, about average for mid November.

Tonight it will fall to around 12ºC inland, 13 or 14 along the coast.

Looks like Tuesday and Wednesday are going to be dry days and maybe a touch warmer than today. Good chance of more rain on Thursday, unsettled weather to follow

A bright sunny morning but warm it is not. Temperature at 09.00 is 13.3ºC in a very light wind. There will be a bit of cloud today but the sunshine should make for a very pleasant day and we could have 20 or 21ºC later. Clear sky means a cold night coming. Could be as low  as 10ºC even by the sea.

A similar day is expected tomorrow but a change in wind direction will bring more cloud, so it won't be as cold at night. Thursday however is likely to be showery day, still warm though in the east wind and the days after are more than likely to be more wet than dry.

Sorry there was no weather yesterday. I was intending to use my phone when out and about but it decided not to work. By the time I got back it was too late.

Anyway, it's quite cloudy this morning with rain in the air. Temperature at 0830am is 17.2ºC. There is a slight chance of a shower or two later, top temperature around 21ºC under a cloudy sky. Itwon't be cold tonight, minimum around 16 or 17.  Tomorrow will be a cloudy day, should be dry and 20ºC, looks like more showery weather coming for the weekend.

This morning started rather misty but that is now clearing away and it will be quite a nice day. Temperature at 0940am is 17.9ºC, should rise to 20ºC later under some high and thin cloud. Little or no chance of rain today. The wind is from the south east so it's a warm wind, tonight will be relatively pleasant at around 15ºC.

However it's expected to rain a bit tomorrow and it could be fairly windy as well with  temperatures similar to today. Sunday could be rather cooler and also showery. Monday and Tuesday should be OK  but the rest of next week is forecast to be rainy and cool.

Grey and damp morning, rain is on the way. Not cold though, temperature at 0915am is 17.6ºC. The wind is coming from the south and south west, damp air across the sea.  The radar shows a large area of rain out to the south west which is gradually coming our way. It could be raining around lunchtime or this afternoon. Top temperature today only around 20ºC.

It will be reasonably warm again tonight, no lower than about 16ºC. Sunday will wil be a little cooler than today and some rain, Monday a bit cooler still but should stay dry. Tuesday onward looks like being a mix of showers and sunny spells, temperatures more like November should be,m 17 or 18 in the daytime, 10 - 12 at night.

Update 1245 - an evil looking cloud is approaching from the south west, guaranteed to be lashing down in about 30 minutes when I must depart pubwards!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, a charming night last night! Hours of howling winds and heavy, squally, showers. It's calmer now but there is a lot of dark cloud out there and the radar shows a large swirl of rain to the south with some small but thundery looking showers perhaps heading our way also.  Temperature at 0820am is 15.6ºC, there is very little wind so if any rain does come out way it's going to be slow passing. The region is on an amber warning for rain, wind and rough sea.

Top temperature today no more than 18ºC. It's going to be colder tonight than it has been lately, down to between 12 and 14ºC.

Monday and Tuesday are going to be fairly cool, only around 17 or 18 daytime, 10 - 12 at night with a fair chance of showers early on Monday.  Wednesday and Thursday look like being decidedly wet, with rainy days likely right through to the weekend and beyond.

It was a bit grey and damp earlier on, but now at 0930am it is much brighter with just a few bits of high cloud. Temperature is 17.8ºC. It should stay dry today, there might just be the odd spot or two of rain later though.  Temperature could rise to 19 later.

It won't be very warm tonight, as low as 12ºC in some places. Tomorrow will have similar temperatures to today but there is a pretty good chance of rain as a frontal system crosses the region from west to east. Wednesday has a lesser chance of rain but will perhaps be a bit cooler then the rest of the week is going to be cool and cloudy with showers and longer spells of rain more likely than not.

Well got that a bit wrong yesterday. A few spots turned out to be a three hour downpour late afternoon and early evening. No-one saw that coming.

Red sky this morning so beware shepherds. Temperature at 0730am is 15.2ºC, a light  breeze and high, scattered, cloud. The radar gas some small showers moving our way from the north-west. Maximum temperature today around 18ºC.

It will be fairly cool tonight, perhaps 12 - 14ºC.

The next couple of days will have similar temperatures to today. Tomorrow should be mainly dry but cloudy, Thursday sees a good chance of more rain. Friday and the weekend are likely to be rainy as well.

These current rain showers are at times popping up almost out of nowhere. So look out the window and the weather radar at www.ipma.pt

This morning it is fairly bright overhead but there is a huge bank of cloud out to sea. Temperature at 0920am is 16.2ºC, there is almost no wind. There are a few isolated showers milling around for later. Temperature today won't be more than about 18ºC.

Tonight will be fairly cool, 11 - 14ºC depending on location.

We are in for a few more days like this, a mix of showers with sunny bits, temperatures in the 17 or 18 range daytime, 10 - 13 at night.

Dull and grey this morning. temperature at 0840am is 15.4ºCXso not quite as cold as  expected.  There is a whole mass of rain to the south and south- west of us. Some will miss, but from the pattern on the radar I think we will be getting wet this afternoon and evening, maybe a little earlier. Maximum temperature no more than 17ºC.

It will be fairly cold again tonight, 12 - 14ºC with the higher temperature along the coast.

It ought to be a nicer day tomorrow, sunny intervals among the clouds and 17ºC.

Looks like being a wet weekend, but it will be slightly warmer with the wind more from the south.

It's much better this morning after another delightful day in the Algarve, but noticeably colder. Very heavy rain last night.

Temperature at 0830am is 12.8ºC which will rise to perhaps 18ºC later. It's mostly blue sky, some cumulus cloud out to sea. There is almost no wind. There are a few small showers on the radar, coming from the north-west, but it will be very unlucky if any come our way.

Tonight will be pretty cold, could be down to 10ºC.

We are in for a cool and rainy weekend as a cold front passes over.  The early part of next week could be even colder, especially at night, then some periods of rain are forecast for Wednesday onward.

Bit wet at the moment, a fairly heavy shower is passing over. That won't last long and there is clear sky following. However more showers are heading our way from the south-west for later today.

Temperature at 08.10am is 14.0ºC, which might reach 18 later amid showers and clouds.

It may not be very warm tonight, could fall as low as 9 or 10 in some places.

Tomorrow is going to be another rainy day, temperatures similar to today but less cold at night. Monday should be a better day all round but the rest of next week will be a mix of sunshine and showers.

It was fairly bright an hour or so ago but now the sky is full of low grey cloud. Temperature at 0920am is 16.1ºC, it is quite windy. There are a few small showers around, coming from the south-west. Maximum temperature today will be around 19ºC.

Tonight won't be too bad temperature-wise, down to around 15ºC. Showers may still be around.

Tomorrow, Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to be dry but cloudy days and a bit cooler, especially at night as we shall by then be in a northerly wind. Rain returns for Thursday and Friday, but after that it should be dry again.

Breezy morning, mostly sunny but a bit of high cloud and mist out to sea. Temperature at 1015am is 15.6ºC.  It will stay cloudy with maximum temperature no higher than around 17ºC. The direction is from the north-west, so it's going to be quite cold tonight, 10 or 11ºC.

Tomorrow and Wednesday will be pretty similar, perhaps even a touch colder.

Thursday sees another weather system crossing the region with a very high probability of rain. Then from Friday we will have several fairly cold but dry days as the customary winter high pressure area establishes itself over the centre of Spain.

Bright but cold this morning. Temperature at 0750am is 12.2ºC, there is a little bit of cloud in the far distance and very little wind.  The wind is from the north east, so this means a dry day but not very warm. Maximum 17ºC although it will feel warmer than that in the direct sunshine. Tonight will be a bit colder than last night, 9 or 10ºC at best. There will be little change for tomorrow it seems, but Thursday will almost certainly be a rainy day. After that we should have dry and settled weather with daytime temperatures around the average 16 to 18ºC for the time of year.
