The concrete sprayers were at work this morning. A mixer truck parks on top, offloads the wet concrete into a pump, which then goes via a very long pipe to the two chaps up in the gondola.     Meawhile, the sun was shining, people were on the beach and even on sunbeds. It was 18º!      |

Another nice sunny day. The grey concrete is now being covered over with a more sympathetic shade. There must have been a very high tide last night, the high water mark was well past the landward end of the pier and the sand on the beach piled high.       |

Work at the cliff looks to be substantially complete, but there is a lot of tidying up and repair work to do.    |

Seems though work on the cliffs themselves is more or less complete and that attention is turning to the steps.    Nearby, the fishermen's path around the cliff is closed because of a rockfall.  The beach looked nice on a sunny day, temperature was around 17º,   |

Can't help you with that but we have definitely lost the two mature palm trees from the decked area in front of Rocamar. They are shown on Cubsur's photos above.

A windy day on the beach yesterday. Work on the cliff and the rebuilding of the steps continues. I didn«t see any new tress but some of the undergrowth has been removed, which might make some stand out more.      |

Very hot at Praia dos Pescadores yesterday, pictures taken next to Inatel hotel. I just opened swimming season, went all the way in into the water on purpose.
