Loraine is not renewing the lease but there is a possibility of doing something else elsewhere. 

I would reckon with the location and success of Iguana that it will continue in some form going forward.

Bagatelle restaurant, opposite Kim's Bar and above Sitio do Mario, has now become Kaifu 'Table BBQ and Sushi'.

Merlin's bar in town shows no sign of work and remains closed.

We were in Dom Capito twice last month as it was one of our favourites. Carlos ( I think that was his name) was not a well man. He did seem to be getting very confused. I found that out on the 17th September when I went to buy the lunchtime bread. very disappointed to see yet another very small bar in its place. Bistro in the Old Town is. now under new ownership too. It's very disappointing as it was by far our favourite restaurant there.

Things are changing and not for the better.

Yes, owners retiring, leases expiring, a few places change hands every year.
