To clarify that the Éstadio da Nora is the ground of Ferreiras FC, located about three miles outside Albufeira. Sporting v Celtic Tuesday 14th July ko 17h30 at the Algarve Stadium. Have not yet found ticket information. A journey by train or bus may be possible depending on where you are, but there will be a 15 minute walk from the nearest station or bus stop. Please ask here if you need any information. Most people will of course drive. Tickets for both matches can be obtained via the MEO Blueticket website or app as from tomorrow, 21st June. They will not be sold at the stadium on the day.

Anyone planning to go, please be aware that, in the evening, there is no public transport at the stadium or anywhere nearby. You must make your own arrangements.

Benfica will play two friendly matches against Flamengo [7.30] and Villarreal [7.45] on July 11 and 17, both at the Algarve Stadium,  the Lisbon football club announced today.

No info on ticketing, as yet.

Some being lined up including Championship teams Birmingham City, Wolves and Huddersfield from around 10th July. As usual, nothing will be confirmed until the ink is dry on the contracts. However some games will be behind closed doors. As usual, you will be the first to hear.

It was a pretty weird setup last time, with no overall winner as I recall.

To highlight the one game currently planned at Ferreiras, it's on Friday 30th January ko 11:00am featuring two MLS teams, Real Salt Lake and FC Dallas. 

It's in my diary!

As for the games at the Algarve Stadium, if you don't have a car that might as well be on the moon.

Thus far the games are almost all at Est Algarve, with just the one at Est Nora in Ferreiras.
Dates are spread between January 26th and February 9th.

From my experience, anyone planning to attend games should check the site on the day. Late changes have not been unknown.

Tournament rules are also on the website. I hesitate over their efficacy as some teams are playing twice, others three times and some even four.

Couldn't agree more.
