Indeed, busy with housework today. Has to be done.
As Cubsur says, I live next door and it's been in its present state of ruin since I've been here which is 10 years.
Over the years various business looking types have been looking at it with clip boards in hand and rumours about it being redeveloped. Latest rumours are that work will start soon but I don't believe a word of it.
No squatters in at the minute but I used to see our old friend 'Dogman' about it but not for a while. The only problem we have is little brats from the local school throwing stuff from the top floor. Police and camara and the school have been informed but nothing will be done until there is a serious accident. It's been empty for as long as I can remember. and I have been here 12 years. Bob D lives almost next door, perhaps he will be able to shed some light on it if he can tear himself away from the housework!

HI EVERYONE, I've got a bit of interest in old abandoned buildings and photographing them as your all are aware  theres quite a few in the old town ! , I was just after bit of background information on said building.... Theres nothing on google etc so I was just curious if any residents have any info to how long its been stood empty and the cause of it be abandoned ect.
  I've been coming to Albufeira for almost 10 years and its been derelict in that time .... I can't figure out why its not been snapped up by developers, its in a decent spot and the building doesn't look beyond economical repair its clear its had squatters at some point and each time I've  took some pics  more and more windows have been broken and graffiti added  , it could be a goldmine for someone when you think 2018 summer holidays are pretty much booked up already ,
  why new build when you can renovate Smile
