Hi Brian,
Continente supermarket definitely has an excellent selection. Haven't ever needed GF but when your best friend is vegan, you get used to looking for "free from" / specialist aisles!!

Just went on tripadvisor albufeira and searched restaurants gluten free and 31 restauarants popped up, so that'll be worth a look - check out the restaurant reviews that include the words gluten free.

Also you can print GF info in Portuguese to show in restaurants.

There's a decent selection of gluten free products at contenente supermarket and smaller selection of goods at pingo dolce

We will be travelling to Albufeira in July and our daughter is a Celiac and cannot tolerate any gluten can anyone tell me where to find gluten free restaurants and buy gluten free foods.
