Time do fly indeed! Nearly four years. Where does it go?

Walked past the town one yesterday, probably only two or three pitches of their 75 were vacant.

Sorry Tom but time flies.
I was sure it was longer than that so I checked their website and the first customer review was posted in 2013 so it must have opened then and this is it's 4th year.
It appears that they have 65 berths and a laundrette.

Yes it is successful and I recall opened only a couple of years ago, if that. Walked along the beach from Pine Cliffs to Alfamar this morning and then caught the bus back to Acoteias. Waiting for the bus I was surprised to see the Motor Home Park across the road looking full. I know it's gets busy as there are motor homes going past our place all day and everyday but after all it is December.
Quite a lot of people waiting at the bus stop so got chatting to an English couple who had a motor home parked in there. They've been here before this time of the year and always have to book. There are around 60 spaces and it's always full, as it is now, and for many weeks to come.
They charge 9 Euro per night for a space and that includes electricity used, water used and wi-fi.
So I make that 60 x 9 = 540 per night x 7 = 3,780 per week Tongue
Not bad for what was nothing more than a bit of scrub land 4 or 5 years ago.
The same people also own the sites in Silves & Monichique
They said the park at Portimao, which the have also used in the past, closed down last week as the land on which it stood has been sold.
