It's been suggested that I go to rent-a-lizard. There used to be a couple of them out back which is probably why I didn't see so many bugs. We've had a military operation every night here - slug watch.
A drop of lager in yogurt pots round the flower beds. They love Sainsburys own brand lager!! Even when it's topped up with torrential rain Evil Laugh

We have woodlice but not enough to comment on. 
Vine weevils are the worst pest here - horrible things! They appear now at the end of June and into July. I go out at night with my torch and you catch all the blighters nibbling away at the plants.

Anyone else having a problem with these little creatures?

I have seen hardly any for years and years, now the back rock garden is alive with them and every morning I have four or five wandering around indoors. No idea how they get in.
