Lasy year's event was pretty understated, this year´s promises to be better but why not publicise it a bit earlier?

On Saturday 18th Feb there will be a repeat of the Peoples Albufeira Carnival parade started last year. It kicks off at 3pm from the Placa dos Pescadores (paved area where the segways etc operate from, alongside Fisherman's beach). Paulo Norberto the guy who posts the old photos of Albufeira on Facebook appears to be one of the organisers. Last year it was good homemade fun and created a great atmosphere in the town. Don't forget that om Tuesday 21st local trains and buses run to Sunday times. Prices for taxi, uber and Bolt are bound to be higher than normal.
