Bus service has never been restored to pre pandemic levels, especially at weekends so travel is not all that easy, with only a few buses each day.

Fares are not published on the official website but for cash fare it's around €4,70. At Albufeira bus station you must buy your ticket inside at the ticket counter, the one on the right as you go in. Allow a few minutes for that. There is always someone in the queue who is trying to do something complicated.

Hi, how easy is it to get a bus to Silves for the day. Are the buses frequent and would a day trip be worthwhile leaving us enough time to have a good look around. Where would we purchase tickets and what would the cost be? Thanks in advance.
