The annual Volta Ao Algarve cycle race stage 4 starts in Albufeira tomorrow (Saturday 22nd) at 1230 outside the Câmara - town hall.

The symbolic start at 1230 will take the riders along the Avenida past the Watches roundabout past the Bullring and back again to the real start at 1240 at the traffic lights outside the Fire Station The race then heads past LIDL and ALDI and onto the N395 Ferreiras road through there, to Paderne and up into the hills.

Expect therefore temporary road closures and diversions along the route from late morning until the race passes. In particular the area in front of the Câmara and Fire Station will be closed from around 0700 as the teams and their equipment assemble and the main road between the Fire Station and Watches will be closed from 1000am while other related events take place.
