Update: Bus Stop now marked on the road. Barriers up opposite the bus stop, next to the taxi rank to prevent parking there.

In other news - as always in August parking laws everywhere else seem to have gone out of the window if you come from France/Spain/Northern Portugal...

Tom,
The EVA bus is using that route if that helps you but it would appear they, the authorities, haven’t put the no parking lines etc down yet as it’s being used as a free car parking area and the EVA bus two days ago couldn’t negotiate the bottom corner because of stupidly parked cars.

Has anyone spotted if the buses have resumed their normal route or are they still going down past the Arte Bar to the marina and back up the hill?

Must keep the website up to date!

Why non spending? Do they turn up with the car full of everything they need? I've seen that on Greek islands. There were men actually working on it on Sunday. Nice bit of overtime for us taxpayers to weigh out on after seven months of work on a single 200m long street. As of yesterday they have about 60 metres of paving left to do. It's cobblestones, which will do wonders for car and bus suspensions.
