And another sunny morning, just a little bit of haze and cloud far out to sea. Temperature at 0945am is a brisk 12.3ºC in a light breeze. This afternoon we may have as much as 19ºC, although it is expected to get a bit cloudy.

Tonight will be cold again, down to 7 or 8ºC away from the coast, a bit less so near the sea.

Tomorrow should be a little warmer but cloudy, Thursday the same. Weather will change on Friday with a very big chance of a lot of rain and that could last into Saturday.

This morning has been rather cloudy but that cloud seems to be breaking up now. It's fairly warm, temperature at 0945am is 14.7ºC, there is very little wind.

It will be cloudy on and off all day but warm for the time of year, we could have 20ºC this afternoon. But the air is feeling damp as the wind is coming from the west and north-west.

Tonight won't be so cold as it has been, 10 - 12ºC.

Little change for tomorrow, but Friday is going to be a rainy day.

Grey day so far, large band of rain crossing from north-west to south-east, The front edge is currently about 120 miles away and will be here around lunchtime. See radar screen http://www.ipma.pt/pt/otempo/obs.remote/index.jsp

Temperature at 1030am is 15.2ºC, it is rather windy already. Top temperature today no more than 17 or 18. It looks like the weekend is going to be dry but rather cold. Behind the rain is a wedge of cold air. Saturday could be around 14ºC daytime, falling to 12ºC on Sunday and maybe as low as 4 or 5 at night.

Certainly the centre and north of Portugal will have temperatures barely above freezing. Also there is an amber warning for high tides and rough seas in this area over the next three days.

It's better now than yesterday afternoon's pretty horrible weather, but still very cloudy and not very warm. Temperature at 0930am is 11.3ºC, there is hardly any wind. There is a patch of blue sky above, but huge banks of cloud out to sea. There are a few showers showing on the radar to the north-west, where the weather is coming from. We may get one or two later. Maximum temperature under these grey skies no more than 14 or 15.

It could be as low as 7ºC tonight away from the coast, maybe 8 or 9 in town.

It could be even colder tomorrow and Monday, but staying dry. Rain is expected Tuesday and Wednesday with daytime temperature around 15 or 16, which is about normal for the time of year.

A cold and grey start to the day, a lot of cloud can be seen out to sea but it does look like the rain will miss us. Temperature at 0800 is 9.1ºC. There is again very little wind.

It will be a cloudy day, the sun will peep through every now and then but maximum temperature no higher than about14ºC. It will be another cold night , as low as 4 or 5 away from the coast, 7 or 8 maybe in town. Tomorrow could be even colder before the wind swings around to come from the south on Tuesday, raising temperature but bringing with it quite a bit of rain, possibly quite heavy at times. Wednesday could be a little wet, Thursday and Friday OK mainly dry but more rain is coming for Friday and next weekend.

It was rather grey and gloomy an hour or so ago, but is brighter now. Temperature at 0930am is 10.3ºC. there is almost no wind and there is a fairly thick lot of cloud a little way out to sea.

It will stay dry today, it will be cloudy and maximum temperature no more than around 14ºC.

Tonight will cold once more, 5ºC inland, a little less cold near the sea.

Rain is coming in from the south tomorrow, it will be a little warmer during the daytime at least. Some showers will still be around on Wednesday. Thursday and Friday will be cold but dry, more rain comes along on Saturday and for the next few days after that.

Update 1440hrs - it's been raining hard for about 3 hours, from leaden skies.

Another grey morning, lots of cloud mostly dark. Temperature at 0750am is 10.1ºC.  As yesterday, there is little wind.

A huge area of fairly heavy rain and strong wind is to the west of us. It's moving south to north, we should escape the worst of the weather to come but some rain is almost certain later. Maximum temperature warmer than it has been, may reach 17ºC during breaks in the cloud.

Tonight will not be very warm again, down to 4 or 5 ºC up in the hills, warmer by the coast. Wednesday to Friday will be fairly cloudy but dry, also a bit warmer than recently especially at night. Next weekend is going to be mix of sun and showers, lasting into Monday and possibly Tuesday.

It is much nicer this morning than yesterday's bleak and dismal weather.  After some rain earlier,  the sun is there, among some thin high cloud, very little wind. Temperature at 1100am is 15.2ºC.  Temperature today could rise to 18ºC. There might be the odd shower or two later in a westerly wind. Tonight will be 8 - 10ºC maybe with still a shower possible.

Tomorrow will be similar to today. Friday is expected to be cold and dry with the wind coming from inland, then Saturday is going to be another rainy day.

It is a little bit misty this morning, but the sun is up there. Temperature at 0955am is 13.2ºC, the air is still. It will be cloudy all day, particularly this afternoon, but will stay dry with a  maximum temperature of 17ºC, which is about average for the time of year.

It won't be very warm tonight, down to 7 or 8 near the coats, 5 or 6 inland.

There won't be much change for Friday, a bit colder maybe, however some showers are expected on Saturday. They may still be around on Sunday, which could also be quite cold. Next week looks like being cloudy and dry with temperatures 16 or 17 daytimes, 7 or 8 at night which is normal for the middle of January.

Personal weather far from good, I won't be going outside today where it does look quite reasonable, but not warm. Temperature at 0925am is 10.7ºC, sun is out with some high cloud in the distance. Once more, there is hardly any wind.

It will stay like this all day, top temperature no more than 15ºC with the wind coming from inland. It will be cold again tonight, as low as 6ºC away from the coast.

Tomorrow will see rain coming, particularly during the early hours perhaps until around lunchtime, with a few showers here and there after that. Temperatures will be similar to today. Sunday is going to be cold day, showers possible, then after that it looks like being a normal January week, daytime 15 - 17, night-time 7 - 10C, with slight chance of some more showers.

It has been raining steadily for quite a while but is just clearing up now at 1000am. Temperature is 13.3ºC, so quite a bit warmer than it has been lately.

There might be a shower or two to come later, temperature should reach 17ºC this afternoon. There will be a bit of sun from time to time.

Tonight will be a bit warmer also, 8ºC inland, 10 or11 near the coast.  Another showery day is coming along for tomorrow and it may be only 14 or 15ºC maximum. Monday and most of next week will be dry, with daytime temperature around 16ºC which is average for the time of year.

It is mostly bright and sunny this morning, but there is a quite obvious cloud front from north-west to south-east as a weather system passes over.

Temperature at 0930am is 11.6ºC, there is very little wind.

Maximum temperature today 15ºC, it should stay dry at least until this evening.

The wind direction is changing to come from the north, so that will be bring clear sky but cold weather for the next few days. Daytimes around 16ºC, night-time 7 or 8 until next weekend.

Bright sunny morning, a little bit windy and not very warm. Temperature at 0955am is 9.2ºC.

Wind is coming from the north, so it will be bright and sunny all day, possibly reaching 16ºC this afternoon. Tonight will be cold again though, as low as 5ºC up in the hills, 6 or 7 in town.

Tomorrow will be another sunny day, maybe a little warmer still in the daytime but still cold at  night. This calm and settled weather should be with us until the coming weekend. Things are set to change again from next Monday onwards.

Amazing, the difference a few miles makes that is.
We are what, about 3 miles West of you Tom, maybe you're exposed up on top of the hill but down here it is so different to what you report. Dead still not the slightest breeze or wind at all, full sun, still to get to full strength but our thermometer already has 12.5 degree's showing. For mid January, and considering what we left in the UK, this is brilliant.
