It was pretty cold first thing, 14.5C at 745am but now has warmed up nicely under a clear blue sky and sun. Temperature at 1100am is 18.5C with a very light breeze.

We should again see 21C later today. Tonight could be a little cooler than yesterday, perhaps as low as 12C in sheltered spots.

There won't be much change in the weather for the next two or three days except for those colder nights. Daytime will still be above average at 21C, night-times 11 - 13C.

The big change comes at the weekend, when daytime temperatures will drop to around 14 or 15C and at night it could be 6 or 7. But no rain is forecast.

It was colder still last night, down to 12.5C. It's going to be a nice day today, temperature at 0955am is 16.8C rising to 21C this afternoon.  The sun is beaming down from a clear blue sky, not a cloud to be seen. There is almost no breeze, just the slightest movement of the leaves.

Tonight will be another cool one, down to 12 or 13C under mostly clear skies. There will be little change for Thursday, Friday and Saturday. From Sunday onwards, temperatures will fall to what they should be in late November ie around 15 - 17 in the daytime, 8 or 9 at night. No rain is forecast for the near future.

Winter draws on. Temperature at 0910am is 15.4C, once again a bright sunny morning with no cloud and almost no wind. This afternoon we shall have 21C,  maybe a bit of cloud but no rain.

Tonight will be cold at 12 - 13C.

Tomorrow and Saturday won't see any real change in the weather.  It's from Sunday when daytime temperatures will be more like a normal November ie 16 - 18C, night-times 8 - 10C. But no rain expected for at least another week or so.

Another bright sunny day and a bit warmer than yesterday. Temperature at 1020am is 17.1C, there are a few streaks of high cloud in an otherwise clear blue sky and once again very little wind.

Top temperature this afternoon should be around 22C.

Tonight we might be as low as 12 or 13C.
Not much change for tomorrow, although perhaps a little cooler.

From Sunday the weather starts to be more like November should be, temperature no higher than 17C in the daytime, 9 or 10 at night. It will stay like that for most of next week.

Update 0920am - just popped down the shop for some brad and I see big black clouds rolling up.

It's quite cloudy this morning and there is a small chance of some light showers later.

Temperature at 0905am is 16.7C, it's feeling quite humid. There is a light wind from the north-west, which is where the rain is currently falling,

Top temperature today will be around 19 or 20C with a fair amount of cloud.

The same northerly air flow that is bringing snow to parts of the UK will also be bringing cooler weather to the Algarve. Sunday and Monday daytime won't be more than 16 or 17C.  At night we will have 9 or 10. It may become warmer during the day later in the week but, with nights getting longer, we probably won't be getting above 9 or 10 at any time.

Luckily yesterday's black clouds rolled by with only a few spots of rain here.

But winter draws are definitely on. The temperature at 7am, when I was rudely woken by a howling cat outside, was 11C.

Now a couple of hours later it is 12.4C, a lot colder than the same time yesterday. The sun is out and there is a fresh breeze blowing through my place from front to back.

Maximum today will be around 17C. Clear skies, so a cold night is expected at around 10C near the coast and down to 7 or 8 in sheltered spots inland. There will be little or no change for Monday and Tuesday, but slightly warmer daytime temperatures are forecast for the latter part of the week.

And not a single dog bark to be heard!

It is nice day indeed. At 745asm it was 11C, now at 1115am it is 13.9C here in Páteo under clear blue sky. There are some nice fluffy clouds right on the horizon but nothing to worry about over land.

Top temperature today 17C, in a nice north-easterly breeze. A good drying day I should think.

It will get a bit cold for some tonight, down to 8c in sheltered spots, 10 or 11 by the sea.

There will be little if any change for Tuesday and Wednesday. The current forecast suggests a good spell of fine and sunny weather, perhaps a bit warmer towards the end of the week and over next weekend.

Must be the altitude of Pateo keeping the temp down Tom!
Absolutley glorious here just down the road but probably 100 foot nearer sea level than you, and 21 degrees, not a breath of breeze and I can't describe how crisp/clear/bright... the unspoiled/unbroken blue sky is.
Our daughter says minus five at home last night, and folks wonder why we are here in November! LOL!
Cool

Absolutely glorious today, our thermometer, at 2pm, says it's 16.

I hate how peopleï compare Frank Zappa to God. I mean, he's cool and great and nice and everything, but he's no Zappa.

A bit Brrrr this morning. At 730am my thermometer said 9.1C. Now, at 0930am it iis up to 12.3C.

The sun is up, there's not a cloud in the sky (looking south at least) and like in Dicey's pictures yesterday the light is so bright it almost hurts. There is the slightest breeze and it's dry air from inland.

This afternoon we should have 17C, staying bright and no clouds. Tonight will see temperatures down to 8 or 9 again.

Same for tomorrow, maybe a little cloud. From Thursday we will have slightly warmer days, perhaps back up to 20C in the daytime. That's 2 or 3 C above average for the time of year. And no rain is expected.

Sorry, I've been busy!

It's been a nice morning, just a few bits of very high cloud but otherwise once again perfect blue sky. Temperature at1145 am is 16C. There is very little wind.

We might get a tad warmer later. Tonight will be down to 9 or 10 C near the coast, a little cooler inland. The settled weather will be with us until at least the weekend, probably until Monday with temperatures rising to perhaps 20C which is well above average for the time of year.
