It can and does happen. Last December, much to the amusement of certain folk on here, I got mild sunstroke after being out all day in the sun with no hat on. Silly me.

It certainly was a nice enough day yesterday and it's not so bad today. It is quite cloudy, but it's low flat cloud with plenty of blue bits in between. Temperature at 11am is 15,2C, there is a light wind from the west.

It should stay dry today wit a maximum of 18C. Tonight we shall have10 or 11C.

It looks like being a reasonably warm couple of days for Monday and Tuesday with temperatures as high as 20C and little prospect of rain. Later in the week it is expected to be clear but cold skies in a northerly wind. Temperatures could fall to 7 or 8 at night and be no more than 14 or 15 during the day.

Sunshine - blue sky!

Temperature at 100am is 15.6C. Not a cloud to be seen. There's just a little wind, from the north. Clear skies means a warm day, perhaps up to 21C which is quite acceptable for the 1st of December. But it will mean a fairly cold night, down to 10 - 12C.

Tomorrow looks like being a little cloudy but generally a fine day but on Wednesday light showers are expected. Then for the rest of the week it should be fine and dry with daytime temperataures around the average of the time of year at 16C. Night'times might be pretty cold towards the end of the week and for a few days more. With a wind from the north it could be as low as 4C.

Same again! A very nice morning it looks out there. Not all that warm and a bit windy, but not at all bad for early December.

Temperature at 1105am is 15.5C, there's not a cloud in the sky. The wind is still from the north.

Maximum today probably 19C. Clear sky means cold nights and once again it will be down to 11 or 12C tonight.

Tomorrow could be a little cloudy and slightly cooler, Thursday there's a slight chance of a shower or two but it looks like the winter anti-cyclone is going to be sitting over Spain bringing settled and calm weather for a good few days at least.

It's rather cloudy this morning but fairly quiet out there. Temperature at 0930am is a cool 13C, there is a light wind from the north-east. The sun should be out later and the temperature will rise to 17 or 18 this afternoon. There is nothing to suggest any rain is on the way.

It won't be very warm tonight, possibly down as low as 9C.  it's looks like being fairly cloudy over the next couple of days, but dry and with temperatures similar to today.

Further forward it does seem like a period of settled weather is going to be with us, clear skies but not very warm especially at night.

It's a nice and fairly sunny day so far, but with a bit of cloud around. Temperature at 1015am is 13.7C, there is a very light wind from the north-west.

It will stay cloudy all day with temperatures no higher than about 17C, which is pretty much average for the time of year. It should stay dry.

It will be another fairly cool night, down to 9 or 10C.

Tomorrow will be another cloudy but fairly pleasant day, then over the weekend we should have clear skies but a fairly cold northerly wind.

It's another fairly cloudy morning, temperature at 09555 is 13.2C, so about the same as yesterday. There is a very light wind from the north, so what with the cloud it won't be very warm today, 16 or 17C at the most.

Late in day yesterday the clouds did get a bit dark but there was no rain. There is some rain now right down in the extreme south west, around Sagres but here we should be dry again today although one forecast does think there might be a short shower or two late in the day.

Chilly again tonight, it could be as low as 8 or 9C. Over the weekend we should have clear skies and temperatures will be similar to today, which are about average for the time of year.

Further ahead, the calm and settled weather looks good for at least the whole of next week.

A bright and sunny morning here, just a few bits of cloud. Temperature at 1040am is 13.5C and there is barely any wind at all.

It will stay bright all day but won't get particularly warm, 16C tops, but will feel nice in the sun I am sure at the football this afternoon. Once more, it will be a fairly cold night , down to 9 or 10C.

The next couple of days will be pretty much unchanged. The air is coming from across Spain so it's settled weather, 15 -17C daytime, 8 - 10 at night and dry days.

It's bright and sunny again, but there is a cold wind blowing, making it feel  colder than the thermometer says, which is 12C at 10.20am.

The prospect for today is for a sunny day but no higher than 15C. It will stay dry.

It will be cold tonight, down to perhaps 8C. (I was told yesterday that in some sheltered spots it was as low as 5C on Friday night.)

The next couple of days will also be dry and sunny and perhaps a little bit warmer than today.

Glorious down the front, old Town, tuna salad and two beers, sun very warm out of the slight breeze, not a cloud in the sky, well happy given what we left behind.
There seem's to be a lot of Spanish people here and all of a sudden most of the overweight middle aged blokes think it's fashionable to be wearing a baggy tracksuit!
Far more people about than we thought there would be.

It's certainly cold up in the hills!

It's again bright and cold here in Albufeira this morning. Temperature at 0945 is 11C, no clouds except for a smattering of high flat cloud way out to sea. The slight movement of the trees tells me a light wind is blowing from the north-east.

We could see as high as 18C today in the sun, but when it goes down around 5.15pm it will suddenly get cold and tonight will be no more than 8 or 9 here on the coast and rather colder inland. No change in the general weather situation is expected for around a week as the anticyclone sits over Spain sending clear and cold air down from the interior.

That could break down next weekend as a deep depression over the UK this week sends down icy blasts from the North Pole, which will freeze everyone up and then send windier and unsettled weather down this way.

It's a nice, fresh and sunny morning again. there is some streaky cloud around and a bit of a haze on the horizon out to sea but mostly blue skies.

Temperature at 1000am is 12.5C. As it has been for a few days now, it will be sunny all day and we should get to 17 or 18C this afternoon. Then it will be another cold night of 8 or 9 C.

The next couple of days won't see any real change except that there might be a bit more cloud.

The outlook for the weekend is for cooler weather, much more cloudy and with a good chance of some rain.
