It's not so windy as yesterday and a bit warmer, 23C at 0845 and very dry air, humidity 44% only. Blue skies. The dry air flow from the north will bring temperatures later of 32C. It will be a warm night, 21C, and a warm weekend coming up with temperatures of 32 or 33C.

This is my last on the spot report for a while as I migrate to cooler and wetter climes. You can get the current weather plus forecasts at http://www.meteo.pt/en/cidadeprev10dias.jsp?localID=8&cidadeID=131

If anyone else cares to look out of the window and contribute, please feel free to do so.

The Alb.com front page says it is 26c. It can't be right, it is absolutely boiling here today, hottest day of my holiday by far! Our thermometer which is in the shade is showing 32c and when we were out in the car about an hour ago it was showing 38c!! ScorchioCool

35 in the shade on our patio yesterday afternoon at 5pm and after the rubbish we've had to put up in the UK recently it felt more like 45.
It's gonna take a "phew" days to get used to this.

The sea is bloody cold though - only 17/18.

It was still showing 29 at 9pm last night but quite windy.
Slept ok even without the air con on.

At 6.30 this morning (yes, some of us do get up that early) it's 23 & already very sunny - no clouds around at all.
Still windy though.
Forecast to be 32 today.

I hate how people compare Frank Zappa to God. I mean, he's cool and great and nice and everything, but he's no Zappa.

Nothing much to say really - currently 31, cloudless sky, slight breeze.
In other words, it's bloody hot.
