Thanks again for kind comments! @Andrew - hope about 4 weeks to build and then whether we have to wait for licenses but law says they have to check within 3 weeks once we ask altho some new laws might make this shorted - ie we send all completed projects (elec, gas, etc) and state we are opening cos confident everything is in order.
Scones, cakes etc for the afternoon + a great snack menu to top you up after a long day on the beach, to see you thru the walk home and til dinner time. Also fresh fruit shakes, smoothies, huge baguette selection etc etc....... Also livening up something as simple of the humble jacket spud - 3 cheese filling, salmon + cottage cheese and chive etc Like the builders, We haven't wanted to temp fate with menu changes etc but as soon as we are signed, I'll get going on the menu and will have them and all new publicity up on the web site as soon as possible.

Wednesday is the day! We are not opening The Cottage now, but if we cant rent or sell we want to try to open July to Sept inc. All depends on staff and how things go in the new place and we've even offered a 6 month rental from May to Oct at a great price so the renter would not have to deal with slower winter months.

We are the proud owners of a new unit! As mentioned before will try to get regular updates onto the website. Will not post so much info on here as is easier to keep all the news on one site rather than me posting on FB; here etc We went to the unit after signing today and had only just opened the door, when 2 regulars from The Cottage who had just arrived, popped in to say Hi after finding the old place closed! Gotta be a good omen!

Maybe, 98% of the tiling is done and the plasterboard sheets for ceilings go up fri and sat. Then can get all 'fire' stuff installed and get an acoustic test done. with these we can submit 1st papers to the camara - hopefully late next week and then have to see what happens. If we are not open, we will be there fitting all the shelves etc so do pop in!!
