Rumour has it, we are signing for new place on Wednesday! This really does look like the next step is just around the corner.....
and on another topic...... Not only did the Camara reply to the letter i sent them asking about trying to convert a shop to a restaurant, and arrange a meeting with one of their architects, but I even got a resume of our meeting thru the post!

That was a false start but now the definite date is next Tuesday as all paperwork has come together. Haven't wanted to tempt fate and contact a builder as things have dragged on but once have spoken to them next week, will have a better ideas of when we can expect to open. The new location for those still wondering, is the old Destination Football shop on the lower middle part of the strip. If you stood at the crossroads of post office and libertos and looked up away from beach, we will be 20m on your right hand side.
Expect to seat around 45-50 as opposed to 80 in old Cottage. A few things going from the menu but much more added and many new ideas. Afternoon teas with crumpet or pasteis de natas - or why not both! Catch you all soon with more info and I will be starting a blog on our web site with a montage of pics from start to finish.
