We haven't seen him for years and in fact thought/assumed he'd retired or expired.
Interesting to read he was seen 3 or 4 years ago and Pete thinks he's still plying his trade up the road.

Clapthe facebook pages so good lots of faces from the past.Wiggy looks so well nice and tidy and the wig as Pete says not like the ones he used to wear all those years ago when he used to dance and play the comb for the kids for a few escudos.

Seeing as this thread was about Wiggy here is a picture of him, most of you ardent albufeirites (lol) will have known him. Also a youtube video of him in Guia. I loved watching him so funny and his paper comb renditions were so funny. Hope admin will allow these, if not please delete.

Andrew they are only pictures of folks who have worked in Albufeira ( mainly Montechoro & The Strip) and are friends, some of them I know and still work here & some I have known from years ago but are now not in Albufeira, so they wouldn't be of any use to the forum if you didn't know these folks. No specific piccies of the area itself. It was just nice to see piccies of folks that I knew from many years ago. I suppose I could find the one of Wiggy and post it because quite a few of us forummies knew him.

Pete I've just been on the facebook page montechoro albufeira,old town, what a great page,  old faces on piccies from way back. Saw the Wiggy picture of him with  a guitar, seems someone commented that he is now living in an old folks home in Guia

he's to be found more in ferrerias apparently these days. There was a long topic on FB under 'montechoro, albufeira, old town and some recent pics of him serenading the crowd at footie half time!

Does any one remember Wiggy and if he is still around.We last saw him in the old town about 3/4 yrs ago and he was looking quite tidy.
